And there you have it! I have finally finnished putting up pictures of my rotary trip to the south. Coming soon...my other summer vacations!

And More!

Yay! Lettuce! The lettuce in the southern part of Chile is different than normal lettuce.

Complete opposites.

This is the turtle. One of the motions that you make when there is an awkward silence. There is also a Patgonian tree and a fish among many, many more.

This insane eagle eye game. If you see someone do this, you have to lay on the ground, unles you can put up the reflector scope in time.

HAHAHA! No Comment.

Here is an example of more craziness!

Extra Craziness!!!

Thinking about life at the Magellen's Straight.

Camera Eyes!

A hand map to find out where, exactly, is Bermuda.

A picture of Kate that didnt turn out.

Santa!

Cemetary

The cemetary is so big it has little streets that include signs! They all have flower names.

One of the big structures where normal people are buried.

Some of the really tall hedges.

An example of the tombs. This one was all granite.

This is the tomb of Sara Brown, she was really important in Punta Arenas and has the biggest area.

The cemetary in Punta Arenas is supposedly the third most famous cemetary in the word.

Free Day in Punta Arenas

This random corner that we found. It is a statue but I didn't get its signifigance!

Some other random statue. We could see the sun set over the ocean from there.

Morgan and I found dried seaweed in a fruit store!

Kissing the foot! There is this statue in the plaza in Punta Arenas and it is said if you kiss its foot you will have good luck!

Penguin Reserve #2

It has grass in its mouth!
Kissing penguins!

Then we went to this other penguin reserve which was really fun. They have this walkway through out the entire park. Here you can observe penguins in their natural habitat (although it was hilarious to see them wattling through the grass!)

Penguin Reserve

Feeding the emu.

Taunting the ostrich. It got really angry!

Nikolaj taunting the literally pshyco guanaco!

We went to a penguin reserve outside of Punta Arenas. But they had more than just penguins...who knew that I would ever see and ostrich and penguins within yards of each other?!?? Kate was always saying, "this one time when I was almost in Antartica..." and it sounds really funny if you finnish the sentence with I touched the ostrich!

Boat

Kate and I "falling overboard"

Elsa driving the boat. We all got a turn if we wanted.

Kate and Morgan just hanging out.
Elsa's famous baby butt cream!
The following day we took a boat from the port of Punta Arenas to go and see another glacier. Unfortunately after a while we had to turn around and never got to see the glacier. These are just of us enjoying the upper deck after the weater had cleared on the way back.

Glacier in Torres del Paine

The scary bridge that we had to cross! It was swaying in the strong wind and had a maximum of 6 people

Eating glacier ice!

The actual glacier is that tiny white spot between the two mountains.

My friend Morgan (from New York) and I at the lookout point.

After lunch, we walked to see Glacier Gray and the icebergs. It was a really hard walk, first we had to cross this little bridge, then go down a path, and finally acroos the beach. Where, the wind almost blew us away! The icebergs are really blue, this apparently means that the ice is really dense. The blue the berg, the denser the ice! Then after we ate some of the glacier ice that was in smaller pieces along the beach. We had to climb up a hill on this little winding one person path to the outlook. It was really pretty, but cold!
